Q: How do I create a profile?
A: Click on “Join” in the global navigation bar and enter all the fields  in the “Create Your Profile” form. You must be 13 years or older to join.

Q: How do I upload images from my camera phone?
A: Once you've created a profile, you can send pix from your camera phone to 5500. You'll get a TXT acknowledging a successful upload. The pic will be posted on the site within 24 hours.

Q: How do I upload Images from my computer?

A: Once you're logged in, you can upload images from your computer via the "Upload Images" tab.

Q: How do I search for images uploaded by other users?
A: The user can enter the search page by clicking on "Search" in the global navigation bar.
The search page contains a Mosaic on top featuring the top rated images. These are the images that are given high fashion scores by the engine by comparing with William Rast model collection of fashion photos. The search criteria are in the bottom left. Enter ‘pink’ or ‘mike’ in the Keywords box and click on Search to retrieve images (that have those tags attached) on the right bottom

Q: How do I view images sent to the site by geographical location?
A: Click on Explore, Select Map View of Submissions. A US map displays with pink dots near the cities where images are uploaded. The size of the dot corresponds to the number of uploads. Click on a dot to view the visual vocabulary of the images submitted from that city.

Q: How do I do a visual search to find pix similar to one I am interested in?
A: 1. Come to ‘View Image’ area through any of the following paths:
Double click on an image in the Mosaic, and click on the ‘View Image’ button below the image of interest.
Click on an image above a city in the Map View of submissions, and click on the ‘View Image’ button below the image of interest.
Do a keyword search and click on the ‘View Image’ button below the image of interest, from the search results.
2. Click on ‘Find Similar’ button.
This launches an advanced visual search window that looks like the one shown below. On the left is the image selected as query. On the right is the segmentation map generated by the engine. The different segments are color coded for easy visualization. The red areas belong to one object class, the green areas belong to the second object class, and the blue areas belong to the third object class. The segmentation map, also referred to as object map is clickable. The user can click on an object regions and select that exclusively for search purposes. After selecting a region, the user can select one or more of the four visual features; color, texture, shape, and object as search parameters. If no region is selected, all three regions are included in the search (which is the entire image). After all the selections, are done, click on the ‘Find Similar’ button. The engine performs visual search and brings images that have regions similar to the query region in the specified visual feature.

Q: How can I post comments on an image?
A: To use this feature, the user has to create a profile and be logged in. When the user is logged in, if he/she visits the View Image area, a ‘Post Comments’ button appears below the ‘Comments’ boxes. See below.The user comments are reviewed by VZW content standards personnel and are released to the site when approved. If the user is not logged-in, he/she will only be able to view the posted comments but will be unable to post comments on the site.

Q: How do I send email to a friend?
A: Go to a Selected Image page (shown left) and click on ‘Send EMAIL’. This launches a popup window with fields to enter ‘To’ and body of text.

Q: What is the fashion meter?
A: The fashion meter shows the fashion score assigned to an image based on its similarity to the RBD sample image library. The higher the fashion score, the closer a user’s image is to RBD's fashion sense.

Q: What are top rated images?
A: Top rated images are those images that have top fashion scores. These are displayed as a mosaic.

Q: Who are Trend setters?
A: Trend setters are people who uploaded a pic first and then other users uploaded pix similar to theirs. That person is making a statement and starting a Fashion Trend!
